1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the Visitation Flow Google Sheets™ add-on / Apps Script solution (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is provided by Dalriada Works (“we,” “us,” or “our”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Use License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal church/ministry or organizational purposes, subject to these Terms and (if applicable) the purchase and maintenance of a valid subscription/license.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted in writing
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is already visible as standard Apps Script
- use the Service to violate any law or to infringe the rights of others
3. Google Workspace Services and APIs
The Service operates within Google Workspace and may interact with Google services you authorize, including Google Sheets™, Google Calendar™, and Gmail™. Your use of Google services is governed by your agreements with Google and applicable Google terms and policies.
The Service is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.
4. User Responsibilities and Pastoral Use
Visitation Flow supports pastoral care workflows (e.g., suggested visitation queues, care tiers, and status tracking). You acknowledge and agree:
- Suggestions are administrative aids and should be reviewed by responsible leadership before acting.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your directory data and for ensuring proper access controls to sensitive pastoral information.
- You are responsible for how you use the Service in your ministry context, including compliance with your church’s policies and any applicable privacy obligations.
5. Subscriptions & Payment Processing (If Applicable)
If you purchase a subscription/license:
- Third-Party Processing: Payments are processed by Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled prior to renewal (timing and method described at purchase).
- Refunds: We offer a 21-day free trial. After your first payment, you can request a refund within 60 days of the transaction. Refunds are processed by our payment processor in accordance with their Consumer Terms and applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available
- calendar/email delivery will occur at the exact time expected (delivery can be affected by Google service conditions, quotas, or connectivity)
- the Service will prevent errors in scheduling, recordkeeping, or pastoral workflows
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VISITATION FLOW OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR MINISTRY DISRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (including license validation, if applicable) immediately and without notice if:
- you breach these Terms
- you misuse the Service in a way that degrades performance, triggers excessive quotas, or harms other users
- required third-party services or APIs become unavailable or restricted
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it and/or removing associated script permissions.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. (If you prefer a different state/jurisdiction for your business entity, change this line.)
10. Privacy
Use of the Service is also subject to the Visitation Flow Privacy Policy.
